호바트 너트크래커 블랙

The cast iron gives it a satisfying heft that makes cracking walnuts feel deliberate rather than frantic. It’s a 1964 design that still works flawlessly today, and the black finish looks sharp sitting on my counter between uses.

Sixty years old and still the most elegant way I've cracked a walnut. The solid cast iron gives it a satisfying weight that does all the work, and the design is so clean it looks like modern art sitting on my counter.

The heft of this cast iron tool feels reassuring in my hand, and it handles even the toughest Brazil nuts without slipping. After a week of use, the black finish still looks perfect.
